TUNE HOTELS MAKATI

by - 7/02/2014

Today when I was pondering over what topic to write on, I came up with the idea of reviewing the hotels I have stayed in!! In fact why not!! I would share my first hand experience which can help you, my lovely readers to decide on what kind of place you can book for your trip!!

When we were planning our Philippines trip, we did not have any idea what to look for. The six countries which we had visited before were planned by our agents. No effort had been put into those itineraries  from our side. At times we were highly dissatisfied with our schedule. So during this time we had planned to take everything in our hands.
During this trip we were looking for not so luxurious options. I love getting pampered in a 5 star but this was neither our honeymoon nor sponsored by parents :D This time we were more like backpackers who were on the mission to explore more and more.

The central business district of Manila is Makati and is just like any other cosmopolitan city with skyscrapers and high end malls. Hence its the most expensive part of Manila. Therefore I wanted to stay in Makati. As Much as I wanted to stay in The Manila Peninsula or Dusit Thani, it was simply out of our budget. However we found Tune hotels which was situated in the heart of Makati.

Tune hotels has lots of branches in South East Asia and even in the UK. It was a reasonably priced hotel for an upscale area like Makati. So we booked it without any further ado.

We stayed three nights there and everything was about at a stone's throw away. Though a no frills hotel, everything was very neat and tidy. And above all, the staff was very sweet making our stay so memorable!!

at the reception...its red everywhere!!
comfortable retreat...

the all red elevator. i was determined to camouflage :d

matching with the red surroundings...

the cute red and white building of the hotel...

the skyscrapers of Makati just outside the hotel..

I had one of the most delicious breakfasts at Jollibee...
cute little comfortable bed......
the Manila Peninsula...next time I would definitely stay here!!
