Its November. There is nip in the air, the markets are flooding with oranges and other winter fruits and its the time for winter blooms. At night the temperatures drop sufficiently that make us snuggle up. Though I am not a big fan of winters, I love this time of the year nonetheless. Moreover, right now is the most joyous time of the year as tomorrow is Diwali, the festival of LIGHTS and one of India's biggest festival!!

With so much shopping, decoration and exchange of gifts going here, I could not help but post a pre Diwali post. Everyone is in a festive mood, splurging on sweets, expensive traditional attire ,home decor and madly cleaning up their homes!!

Since its Diwali, one is expected to be in a traditional attire. But last year I was so engrossed in lighting up crackers, that I completely forgot to take pictures!! So today, the pictures I am sharing were taken a day before, when me and my hubby went for an evening out to take the feel of the celebrations.

P.S I just love gorging up kilos of sweets that are gifted during this time!!
