There are so many hiking spots in Western Canada, that it can be hard to pick which ones to visit first. Here is a list of some of the most popular and recommended hiking trails.

Banff National Park

Banff National Park is one of the most popular national parks in Canada. It's home to over 200 species of wildlife, which makes it really fun to explore and discover new things while you're hiking there.

It has a lot of different hiking trails and paths to choose from, but you should always consult the official Banff National Park site for up-to-date trail conditions.

Not only does the town of Banff have excellent hiking trails but it also has everything you can possibly need like restaurants, hotels and shops. So much so that vacationers and visitors start their search for Banff homes for sale to make this lifestyle with amazing amenities a daily routine.

Icefields Parkway

Hiking at Icefields Parkway is a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It allows you to connect with nature and escape the noise of the city. It's also a great way to experience some of Canada's most beautiful landscapes.

The Icefields Parkway is located in Alberta, Canada and stretches for over 100 kilometers. The trail offers spectacular views as it passes by glaciers, mountain lakes, waterfalls, and forests. If you're looking for an adventure or want to take in some of Canada's natural beauty, then hiking at Icefields Parkway is for you!

The Rocky Mountains

There are many hiking trails that lead to breathtaking views in the Rocky Mountains and it's also a nice way to spend time with friends and family.

The Rocky Mountains are located in Western Canada and span an area of about 2,000 miles from east to west and 1,000 miles from north to south. The Rockies are not just one mountain range but they are actually a collection of smaller mountain ranges that run together in parallel lines across the middle of Canada.

Hiking at The Rocky Mountains is a great experience. It takes around 4-5 hours to hike up and down the mountain. You can see different types of trees, animals, and plants.

Yellowhead Highway

If you are looking for a new hiking adventure, then this is where you should go! Hiking at Yellowhead Highway offers great views and opportunities for wildlife viewing and bird watching.

There are many different trails that hikers can take advantage of when they visit the Yellowhead Highway in Canada. The most popular trail is called Maligne Lake Trail which takes hikers on a journey through beautiful forests and landscapes before they come across Maligne Lake which is one of the most scenic destinations in Jasper National Park.

It also has many waterfalls which are perfect for those hot summer days when you need some relief from the heat!
