A very very happy Xmas to all my lovely readers!! Hope
everyone had a blast!! I always wish that holidays never got over!! I have
always loved wearing red on Xmas..it camouflages me with the merry
surroundings. This time I made my husband wear black so he complemented my red
and black attire!! Like every year, it was a chilly Xmas so everyone had warm
clothes piled on. In India what I love most about this day are the beautiful decorations. Santa, reindeers gifts Christmas
trees of various color and style!! I love them all!!
This year, it was a pretty eventful day. We were invited to
attend a Puja by a senior doctor. That
explains our traditional attire :D The elaborate rituals were followed by a
terrace lunch. The ambience was
absolutely beautiful with the trees all around and shining sun overhead. It was
a traditional elaborate Telugu lunch which reminded us of the scrumptious food
served in Andhra Bhawan.
Afterwards, we headed off to Vasant Kunj to continue with
the Xmas festivities. Our eventful day was concluded by a nice dinner and
homemade chocolate cake (made by me ).
As I had told here, this year was pretty much the picnicky
Xmas which I used to have with my parents!! :D
