Diwali Card Party

So Diwali is just knocking at our door. With just two days to go, we all are decked up for the biggest festival of the year. Everyone is stocking on ethnic wear for the Puja and other ceremonies. While I think ethnic wear get their fair share of importance, we tend to forget dressing  up for the collateral parties. One of my favourite part of card parties is dressing up for them! Its a no brainer that I love playing cards and the snacks that come along but fusion dressing is my favourite!
I have come up with a few options. Since it is a 'Diwali' event, I have stuck to being elegant and conservative. No leg show for this party!

While browsing I came across a wonderful site Dresslink.com. THe products are not only attractive but really cheap buys! Here are a few pieces that I picked up for the card party.

My favourite pick for the evning has to be this dress. I love the colour, the jeweled shoulder and the silhouette. You can buy this Blue maxi dress here

My second pick. Shop this elegant Yellow maxi dress here

My third pick is the modern take on Anarkali suit. Shop this cheery Pink maxi dress here

THis Two tone maxi dress is such a pleasant take on modern meets conservative. Shop it here

As Diwali is in the middle of November this year, there is nip in the air. For chilly evenings, you can throw a light yet chic blazer over your outfit.

Shop this girly Pink coat here

My favourite is this floral blazer. Shop it  here
How cute are these footwear? Shop these Bow pumps here

For people celebrating Diwali in really cold weather like those in Himachal or Uttarakhand, opt for this orange coat. Shop it  here

THis clutch would go with everything. Shop it here
