Out on the streets of Dubai
Winters are so irritating!! The chill just does not seem to
spare us!! Today it rained too!! Like here, today also I would like to recapitulate a bright sunny
day of my sunny vacation.
As said here, people tend to associate Dubai with only sky
grazing architecture, luxury and gold. But we often tend to forget that it is
blessed with the beautiful Gulf sea and the Arabian Desert.
Dubai can be a wonderful sea resort with its warm blue water.
However, sun bathing is possible only during winters because of the scorching
equatorial sun. I had described my stint in the Jumeirah Beach here.
Unfortunately we visited the Arab Emirates in October so the sun was not
merciful upon us. But that did not deter us, the sea freaks from getting dipped
in the sea!! My parents chose to stay in the hotel; so when we returned, they
were shocked to see us fully sun burnt!!
My mother in law accuses me of tanning her fair son
repeatedly whenever we take a beach vacation (which we often do ) :D. Anyways,
I do not mind burnt skin as long as I have the privilege to play in the sea!!
After our dip in the warm waters, we went for a stroll on
the deserted beach. Nobody else was crazy enough to to be found there!! Then we
went to Deira City Centre for shopping. It was
a hot but amazing afternoon.
