Asus Zenfone2 Indiblogger Meet

I am not new to either Asus or the Zenfone. I may have been a year back but not now! In fact I have had you people my readers know about the Zenfone too! Well last year July saw the launch of the Zenfone series in India. After that there has not been looking back. I got my hands on the Zenfone5 for review and it was pretty incredible. After a thunderous response it got as a budget smartphone, Asus decided to launch its second generation Zenfone! Of course an Indiblogger meet was scheduled to herald its launch but the things things were pretty unique this time. It was going to be the largest Indimeet till date with 500 seats! A dollop of celeb dose was expected with Saif Ali Khan, Anusha Dandekar, singer Aditi Singh Sharma and Daboo Ratnani! The venue was not a five star hotel or a posh pub but was none other than The Kingdom of Dreams! I had already professed my love for this place here and here, So there was no way I could have missed it! Even if it was a Thursday afternoon!

My day started pretty early. Gurgaon is on the opposite side of where we stay in Delhi. So after dropping off our daughter at my mom's, hubs went to the hospital and I took the metro. Hubs was not sure whether he could make it or not as he had a busy day with patients. I reached the venue after one and a half hour of travel and was ready to enjoy the incredible experience.

The whole place was decked up beautifully. The interiors were dimly lit to give the zen like feel. We were given radioluminiscent bands as if we were in a discotheque! The afternoon started with our favourite emcee Anusha Dandekar to be followed by a jaw dropping performance by singer Aditi Singh Sharma. After an elaborate introduction of the ASUS Zenfone 2 by the ASUS CEO Jerry Shen and VP as well as Intel VP Debjani Ghosh, nawab Saif Ali Khan arrived to unveil the phone! The bloggers went berserk at the oodles of celebrity dose. The Asus team had also invited Bollywood ace photographer Daboo Ratnani and Instagram sensation Robert Jahn to speak about the excellent camera of the Zenfone2.

I am not at all a tech savvy person. After all the hullabaloo the things which went inside inside my head were:

1. The frist smartphone to have a 4GB RAM. That is very fast!

2.13 MP camera and 5 MP front camera

3. 60% charging in about half an hour!

What mattered to me the most is its excellent picture quality and fast processor!

For me meets are a lovely way to connect with fellow bloggers and make new friends! I simply love that. But when such events have celebrities coming, its a win win situation for me! My only regret that day was I could not get a picture with Saif Ali Khan!
